ANC-Glendale Chapter Launches New Website
September 11, 2007

Glendale, CA – The Armenian National Committee - Glendale Chapter announced today the launch of its new website designed to further enhance community outreach efforts by creating a place to obtain up to date information on current Armenian-American issues and get involved locally.  The website can be found on the internet at www.ancglendale.org.  The launching of this website comes after months of design work by ANCG supporter Ari Boyadjian of Image Cube (www.imagecube.com) and Executive Director of ANCG, Elen Asatryan.

"We are proud to have created yet another outlet where Armenian-American activists can obtain up to date information on important issues concerning the Armenian-American community here in Glendale," stated Executive Director of ANC-Glendale Chapter, Elen Asatryan.  "This website represents a powerful tool that allows Armenian-Americans to exercise their democratic right to petition their government and provides another effective means for activists to get involved in advancing the Armenian cause," added Asatryan.

The new ANC-Glendale Chapter website is user friendly. It provides the community with the opportunity to easily contact their officials and the media, register to vote, sign up for ANCG subcommittees through their get involved link, donate, and most importantly stay up to date with current issues concerning the Armenian-American Community. Visitors to the website will also be able to obtain information on employment opportunities with the City of Glendale, as well as contact information for key departmental staff.

The new website also provides a section for students and recent graduates who may be seeking information about internship and job opportunities available through the ANC or the State Capital.

"The ANC Glendale's new website will further enhance community outreach efforts here in the 29th Congressional district," stated ANC-WR Executive Director Andrew Kzirian.  "We applaud the website's launch and look forward to working with the local ANC to promote awareness of issues of concern to Armenian Americans here in Glendale," he added.

Armenian-Americans are encouraged to join the ANC-Glendale Chapter email list to receive the organization's latest press releases and action alerts in the convenience of their own home or office.
