ANCG Helps Clean Up Glendale

On Saturday, October 25th, while most of the city was still asleep, ANC Glendale along with other city organizations and community members met at Dunmore Park to participate in the 15th Annual Clean Up Day. Clean

Make a Difference Day occurs all over the United States on the fourth Saturday of October each year. This day, created by USA Weekend Magazine, influences people to help their community and teaches them that keeping it clean is important. ANCG interns, Patil Kavarian, and Jennifer Movsessian helped make a difference by picking up the litter that gets swept away into our storm drains.

"By participating in the community cleanup, I gained pride in my city and pride in all the organizations that are willing to lend a hand," stated ANCG Intern, Jennifer Movsessian. "I was happy to be part of such a great cause," added Movsessian.
