ANCG Partners with Glendale Youth Alliance

In late August, the Armenian National Committee - Glendale Chapter happily reported its new partnership with the Glendale Youth Alliance. The program, established in GYA 1993, provides youth between the ages of 14-21 with employment opportunities through the city. The first of many students to join the ANC Glendale family was Mari Hakobyan, curretly a student at Glendale High School.

"The Glendale Youth Alliance is honored to be working with the ANC of Glendale. We are fortunate to have the support of the ANC, a grassroots organization dedicated to the empowerment of our community," stated Ida Babayan, GYA, Program Specialist. "It is important for our community to invest in our youth and teach them the importance of work ethics. Our youth are our future, an investment in the youth today will result in a healthy and prosperous community in the future," added Babayan.
