![]() Glendale Youth Center Kicks off 2nd Annual Holiday Food Drive The Armenian National Committee of Glendale in partnership with the Glendale Youth Center, and the Glendale Chapters of Armenian Cultural Foundation Juniors, Armenian Relief Society, Armenian Youth Federation, Hamazkayin, Homenetmen and St. Mary's Church will be hosting a Holiday Food Drive in an effort to provide local fami "Through the combined efforts of local organizations, schools and community members, over 150 Glendale families, elderly, and veterans received more than 8,000 food items last Christmas. We hope to double that number this year and are confident that we will reach our goal with the continued support of our partners, Glendale residents, and business owners," stated ANC Glendale Executive Director, Elen Asatryan. . Participants are encouraged to donate a variety of food items including: Fruits & Vegetables: Canned vegetables, Vegetable juice, Diced tomatoes, Tomato juice, Tomato sauce, Spaghetti sauce, Canned fruit, Fruit juice, Dried fruit. Grains: Oatmeal, Whole grain crackers, All types of pasta, Cereal, Cream Of Wheat, Whole grain rice. Protein: Canned tuna fish, Canned salmon, Canned chicken, Canned bean soup, Canned baked beans, Dried and canned beans and peas, Canned chili, Canned beef stew, Peanut butter, Nuts. Oils: Corn Oil, Vegetable Oil, Olive Oil. Baby Formula and Canned Baby Food Community members interested in participating may drop off non perishable food items at the following locations:
