Government Affairs Committee
ANCG Government Affairs Committee serves to foster and maintain relations with all city officials, departments and other government agencies, as well as with civic leaders and representatives from community based organizations. Specifically, ANCG GAC addresses the needs of the Armenian-American community using city resources, participates in electoral issues and monitors legislative activity, while representing the Armenian-American community's interests to local, regional and national government entities.
Community Relations Committee
ANCG Community Relations Committee serves to build and maintain relations with the Armenian-American community, civic leaders, and representatives from community based organizations. Moreover, the ANCG CRC defines, develops and administers community education and mitigation programs though a series of "good neighbor" activities (i.e., Community outreach, Community forums, Job training, Civic participation, Low income and affordable housing,) for the Armenian American community in the City of Glendale. All functions are designed to increase public awareness and understanding of ANCG, its projects and policies, and to promote goodwill.
Public Relations Committee
ANCG Public Relations Committee serves to develop programs to promote ANCG among government entities as well as the community at large. ANCG PRC coordinates with Executive Director and other Committees of ANCG in the planning and implementation of ongoing public relations and promotional activities aimed at fostering greater public awareness of ANC and the Armenian-American community in the city of Glendale The committee maintains community contact and media contact information. PR goals are met through a variety of means including print media, television, website, and grassroots efforts.
Fundraising/Special Events Committee
ANCG Fundraising/Special Events Committee serves to identify, plan and host funding opportunities, develop materials that effectively express ANCG's economic needs and the needs of the Armenian-American Community. In addition the Committee is charged with hosting social functions such as the ANCG Annual Banquet.
